Brow Lift
PROCEDURE:
Brow Lift
WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR THIS PROCEDURE:
Droopy (ptotic) eyebrows associated with ageing
DESCRIPTION:
A brow lift is usually performed in conjunction with a blepharoplasty and a face lift.
As the face ages, the brow droops and gives a tired, angry look.
There are many techniques that can be used to treat ptotic eyebrows.
Usually a small incision is made above the hairline so the scar appearance will be conceded. The eyebrows are raised (laterally more than medially) and this results in ‘opening’ of the eyes with a younger appearance.
DURATION:
1-2 hours
ASSOCIATED PROCEDURES:
Blepharoplasty, Facelift, other non-surgical rejuvenation of the face
POST-OPERATIVE RECOVERY:
Recovery is rapid and return to work is within a week.
There are no dressings, and just ointment is applied on the wounds.
