Injectable Filler

WHAT IS FILLER:
Modern fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA) derivatives.
HA is a natural component and is part of the glycosaminoglycan group of carbohydrates. These molecules form the ground substance of all cells in the body.
HA absorbs water and expands after it is injected.
There are many different types of fillers, used for different parts of the face and different uses.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Fillers last for 6-9 months.

WHERE CAN FILLERS BE USED?
Fillers are mainly used for facial rejuvenation.
They are used for facial volumization, skin rejuvenation and filling of deep lines and wrinkles.
The procedure is done in the consulting rooms and a local anaesthetic cream is used on the face to prevent pain.

  • Mid-facial rejuvenation. As the face ages the cheeks lose volume and the fat descends. Filler is a great way to rejuvenate the mid-face and add volume.
  • Temporal hollow filling.
  • Filling of nasolabial folds and deep wrinkles.
  • Lip rejuvenation. Filling of the lips is a very powerful tool to improve the aesthetic appearance.

I strongly believe in a natural appearance and not ‘over-done’.
